The fall ornamental cabbage and Kale is HUGE!!!  We've never grown such beautiful plants.  Be sure to check them out. A few fall pansy plugs came in with the cabbage and kale, so we've had pansies in bloom (6" pots") for the last two weeks or so.  It's so nice to see some fresh new blooms that our customers can plant and know that their effort won't be killed off with the first frost!  More are on the way - look for them the first of September. A new shipment of houseplants arrived last Sunday and we got the neatest looking plant.  It's called a Pineapple plant.  There's the neatest little pineapple right on the top of the spikes.  Too cute! And.... believe it or not, we have a pretty awesome selection of herbs for this time of year.  Check it out! MUMS...MUMS...MUMS...MUMS... What would fall be without them!  We have been growing about 4,000 out at the greenhouse and their wonderful!  Available in 6", 8", and 12".  All hardy varieties.  We recommend getting them in the ground as soon as possible.  They're great fall decorations, sitting around on the porch and by strawbales for a focal point, but remember, as the season goes on, it becomes more difficult to get them setttled into the ground and ready to come back for next spring.   But for fall color..... can't beat 'em!
