Welcome to Back Home on the Farm Corn Maze & Family Fun for 2008! It's packed full of fun for the whole family!  Located less than 2 minutes from the city limits, it's a great way to spend an afternoon!

Over 23 activities included in admission!
- 3.5 acre corn maze   (all new for 2008) Hint:  It's all about horses this year!
- Straw maze for little tykes.  Make it to the center and ring the dinner bell!
- Pumpkin Sling Shot - set the record at over 300 ft.
- Farm Animal Exhibit - cows, rabbits, goats, Spike the Donkey and company!
- Rubber Ducky Races
- Cow Train - Climb aboard - fun for all ages!
- Logic Maze - you can't make any left hand turns in this one!
- 60 ft. Slide - One of our most popular attractions
- Cat's Cradle Maze - trickier than it looks
- Barnyard Bowling - Fun for all ages

- Educational greenhouse exhibits - an interactive display about the
   wonder of plants and where your food REALLY comes from
- Swings - New for 2008 - horsie swings and more... for big and little
   kids
- Sandbox - New for 2008 - come play with the trucks or dig with kid
   sized steam shovels
- Wagon Rides - take a leisurely ride around the farm and find out
   about our entire operation. (not available all weekends)
- Cornphone - communication system like you never imagined in the
   maze!
- Rain Forest tent -  new for 2008 - cool off here on warm fall days!
- Kaleidescope - check out the scenery in a whole new way!

Sat. 9/13 & 14 - PUNKIN CHUNKIN DEMO

     If you haven't been to a national punkin chunkin competition or seen it on TV, you're in for a real treat!  Gary has contacted Mr. Ray Tolson who has been winning competions for years with his guns Second Amendment and Second Amendment II.  He'll be on hand to demonstrate someof his powerful air cannons - some of which will shoot a pumpkin nearly a mile!  We don't have a mile  of open space out here at the maze, but he'll be shooting at various targets over the weekend. 
     Don't miss this one!  Demo's are included with price of admission.


          
Saturday 9/20 - Barnyard Triathalon sponsored by WSVA and Whitesel Brothers.

     Register to win by callling in on WSVA's contest and if you win our Triathalon, you could be the proud owner of a top of the line commercial  weed trimmer! 

      
Saturday 9/27 - Q101's Maze Craze sponsored by "Q" and Crutchfield.

Sign up your team to play the maze craze and if you're picked to play, your team could win 5 GPS units from Crutchfield.  Awesome... just awesome!

OCTOBER

Saturday 10/18 - Giant Pumpkin Contest -
 
Win official bragging rights to the biggest pumpkin in the territory!  Entries weighed in between 9-11.  Winner announced at high noon!  Top Prize:  $75 and braggin' rights for a year!



Saturday 10/18 - Children's Costume Contest  Sponsored by WKCY

     Open to all children ages 12 and under.  Proceeds to benefit St. Jude's Hospital.  More details later on this website or ... listen to WKCY!
